The dual action engagement system on the nailers, which requires both the work piece contact element (nose-piece) to be depressed and the trigger to be pulled at the same time in order to discharge a nail, can malfunction and involuntarily discharge a nail by pulling the trigger alone, posing a laceration hazard to consumers. As of July 22, 2025, the company has received no reports of injuries or incidents in Canada or the United States.

This recall involves one lot of Twin Rivers Farm Ltd.’s Surf Banana Split dried cannabis pre-rolls, one lot of Surf Layer Cake dried cannabis pre-rolls, and one lot of Surf Mac dried cannabis pre-rolls. These products were sold through authorized retailers in Nova Scotia. Hazard identified The product labels have incorrect cannabinoid values: The total THC labelled values are lower than the actual total THC on all 3 affected products. The total CBD labelled values are missing on the Surf Layer Cake and the Surf Mac pre-rolls. The total CBN and total CBG labelled values are lower than the actual total CBN and total CBG on the Surf Layer Cake and the Surf Mac pre-rolls. To date, Twin Rivers Farm Ltd. and Health Canada have not received any complaints related to the recalled lots. Neither Twin Rivers Farm Ltd. nor Health Canada have received any adverse reaction reports for the recalled cannabis product lots. Number Sold 30 units of recalled product were sold. Time Period Sold The recalled product was sold from July 2-4, 2025.

Expanded Recall: Polaris and 509 branded helmets recalled due to impact hazard

509 has determined the following issues with three groups of helmets. 509 Tactical 3.0 helmets and 509 for Polaris Tactical 3.0 helmets (Youth, Mountain, and Trail helmets) fail to comply with some marked certification standards and may not provide sufficient protection in the event of a crash, posing a risk of head injury. Small and Medium size only 509 Tactical 2.0 helmets, 509 Tactical 2.0 helmets with Fidlock, and 509 for Polaris Tactical 2.0 helmets, which were manufactured in 2023, may not provide adequate impact protection in the event of a crash, posing an increased risk of head injury. Certain 509 and 509 for Polaris helmets with Fidlock® (manufactured from 2020 to present with a stainless steel glide bar), the webbing on the chin strap may not be routed correctly. An incorrectly routed chin strap could allow a retention buckle separation and may not provide sufficient protection in the event of a crash, posing an increased risk of head injury. As of July 1, 2025, the company has received no reports of incidents in Canada, and no reports of injuries. In the United States, the company has received one report of the helmet detaching during a collision and one report of concussion.
